This place has many good points, it is on a bus route and has a car park, well sign posted and easy to find. Divided in to different areas you can walk around. The areas include animatronic dinosaurs, the T-rex is huge and very loud, there is a fairy land with little toadstool houses and a castle, wild west, a spooky mansion and pirates, with two ships and of course the sea. Lots to do, Wheelchair and pushchair access is good although there are steep paths in some areas.
The cowboy arrested me and I fainted because I have a fears of cows and I'm allergic to the male species. I'm nightmare wrapped up in one really.... It's a really good place tho, I advise you to go... Me, my husband and my children really had fun
Loved every second of our time at blackgang chine. I went with a 9 year old, a 1 year old, my husband and my mother in law. It was wonderful, lots to see and do. A great family outing. I would highly recommend it.
Great place to spend the day, even better if you can go when they have entertainment on in the evening. There's enough to keep children of all ages entertained.
Have just been to Blackgang Chine for the half term Halloween and was very disappointed. Last year was great, fireworks and lots of other things for everyone. This year park open until 10 p.m., great, walked around, absolutely deserted, no food shops open, cowboy town, closed, went to the Wicked Nights part, total chaos, nothing for the younger ones, apart from the pirate barrels, 86, total rip off, will give it a miss next year.
