Friendly hospitable and clean. we had a sea view room which was incredible. coffee machine in room lovely just a couple more pods would have been good. Will definitely come back.
Arrived unannounced late on a Saturday afternoon and they couldn't have done more to accommodate us. The service was exceptional, the room was large, clean and had a great view and, following a very comfy sleep, we were treated to a glorious breakfast in our room (at our request). Thank you Hambrough!
Stayed three nights in August. Fabulous staff, friendly and helpful. We were greeted well, directed to nearby free parking and helped with our luggage to our second floor room. Room was large with views down to the sea. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Delicious breakfast served up in a lovely dinning room, again by great staff. Central location with easy access to the sea and the town. Some guests may find the lack of a lift problematic but as hikers it was fine for us. Overall excellent stay, thanks!
Just had Afternoon Tea, loved it. Attentive service, but not intrusive. Good selection of cakes, could have done with a few more sandwiches, but what we had was delicious. Loads of tea, plenty of alternatives if that isn't your thing. Great view across the English Channel. Give it a try, don't think you'll regret it.
Over priced and expensive. Never a 5 star establishment more like a 3 star. Good views though but parking is a nightmare,even though you are warned about this problem whilst going through the booking process. I didnt believe it would turn out to be the problem it would turn out to be. Breakfast pretty average in the grand scheme of things.
