Once past the BS hype of the place being haunted it does have its own microclimate. Well kept and interesting place to go. We would definitely reccommend.
It's a fantastic day out. Beautiful gardens with so much to see. Staff are real friendly. It was a pleasure.
Beautiful gardens and cafe / gift shop, you need three hours here to see all. Well worth it great spot and you can park car and walk down Love Lane to steep hill cove try the crab shed its lovely!
My husband and I visited the Botanical gardens in Ventnor in September. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant and all the food was locally grown, including the mushrooms and salad. It was the most delicious meal we've had in a long time and the staff were absolutely lovely and so friendly and courteous. Would definately go again.
The gardens are great; they must take a great deal of hard work by the gardeners. Look out for the lizards; they are cheeky, shy, and fun, and the amazing cactus area. The cafe, which I believe is leased, is another story though. It is poorly maintained and their cleanliness is questionable. Whoever is responsible for that part needs to up their game out of respect for their visitors, and indeed themselves.
