We stayed here & were pretty disgusted with the quality. It portrays a good image in any photos, but its all a bit of gloss. Our caravan was a filthy worn out excuse. We surmised it had come from a previous park as it had a different number on one end to the other! (bit of a giveaway). Ripped fabric everywhere, filthy cutlery & kitchen (we washed everything before using it), thread-bare carpets & completely flooded underneath due to collapsed pipework from the bathroom. Didn't find reception staff that endearing either, one middle-aged lady in particular! Unfortunately the whole experience set me up badly at the very beginning with the collection of bed linen fiasco. Nigh on hour que to get a welcome pack with our duvet covers & bed sheets. So thats a 120 mile trip with 3 kids (one aged 10 months) to have to unload a car make beds, before any dinner, quite a tired, late night.Hi-de-hi..... more like no-de-noNever again, we will be looking for a smaller company to book with next time.PS. The owner has a nice Bentley mind, so must be comfortable with what the business is providing for them.
Having been here before, last year, we have returned and staying in a pet friendly bungalow. Spacious and well kept accommodation with easy parking outside. Very good sized clubhouse/ restaurant and very helpful staff too, with amusements and a fishing lake too.Ideal base to explore the island.With bungalow, houses and static caravans to hire. Originaly come to stay for weekend in a bungalow, but staying on for four nights more in a static caravan, so hopefully the caravans meet the same standards has the bungalows.More to follow.....
