Quaint, cosy, historic pub in a great location near the coast. Friendly and courteous staff and great food - excellent local caught crab sandwich. Varied menu, with several changeable daily options. Live music (accoustic duo) on the Sunday lunchtime when we were there.

Sunday lunch's gravy is very gloopy. The stuffing is instant. The meat is so covered in brown gravy goo it might as well have been a camel I was eating. Red cabbage with some vinegar can make sense but this was super strong of vinegar. A microwave was a very important part of their process.A Shame I used to work here in the kitchen 22 years ago and it was definitely better then.Service fine today , short staffed but doing well non the less.Will try again in another 22 years.
Stopped here for lunch during our recent visit to the Island. Lovely pub! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was yummy!! Will return on our next trip!
