Lovely place and food was lovely, and staff was really nice
Wow.. I have to highly recommend this place to everyone who visits the isle of Wight. My family and I went for a sunday carvery and I have to say the food was excellent, the staff were excellent, the restaurant was excellent and to top it all off it had a window view like no other.
Big portions but steak over cooked, frozen chips that looked anemic, tomatoes tasted of fish, mushrooms tasted of water and nothing else. Pork sausage was actually pork and leek which is fine if you like leek but for those who don't not good...would not recommend to anyone!!
Tomato soup the best soup ever tasted. Best fish and chips in Ventnor good price s. Friendly and welcoming staff/owners
A big thank you to the owner of this pub. My wife sadly passed away yesterday and I decided to go out for some food and drinks with my family. He done a lovely gesture for the whole family and it really touched all our hearts. Thank you so much to all x
