My wife and I came across this fascinating tea room while spending Christmas on the island. We had a cream tea which was superb; the scones were huge; fresh sliced strawberries on the side added a nice refreshing touch. So much authentic wartime memorabilia displayed everywhere, we didn't know where to look first! Really nice owner, very accommodating, friendly and hard working. Great staff. Great varied menu, lots of it home made. We will be back! Highly recommend you use the loo while you're there!! Bob & Joan

Superb 40s themed cafe. Crab pasty was great washed down with traditional tea. How English!
This was our 2nd visit as we visited ventnor last September. The standard of food is as excellent as was on 1st visit. I would recommend the prawn cocktail. Lovely staff.
