Lovely spot for a coffee right on the Coastal Path. Do not expect too much. It is what it is.

Very quaint hideaway. Lovely outdoor seating with a view of the channel and beyond. It's like having a cuppa at your elderly great-aunties place.
I have eaten here a few times and always thought the service was lovely! The views are fab, One day decided to go for a picnic on the grass so we could have nice views for my boyfriend's birthday there was only 4 of us, suddenly didnt get such a warm welcome and was quite rude. I've seen lots if people eating packed lunch on the benches so not sure why us having a picnic was so different? The picnic area that she told us to go to was overgrown and had no view so we went back towards the cafe still out if the way and didn't leave a single bit of litter behind and actually some customers were chatting away to us when passing by , the lady in the cafe wasnt so friendly, such a shame. Was going to buy some drinks in the cafe but didn't bother in the end :/
Beautiful stunning place for a cream tea!! Plenty of outside tables and seating. Good service. Amazing view over the sea.. Quiet spot. And we saw a red squirrel..plenty of free parking too. Would definitely recommend Smugglers..it IS a haven!! The coffee was lovely too..
